“Written Off?” features a staged reading of the play SHELTER/CHICAGO performed by homeless Chicagoans, homeless shelter staff, students, and journalists. Following the performance journalist Laura Washington hosts a panel to discuss what responsibilities the media has in reporting on homelessness, and how we as the public can better understand the plight of homeless people. This program was streamed and recorded by Chicago Access Network Television (CAN TV).
