Chicago Hearing on Gaming Legislation

Published on Jun 5, 2014

Pro and anti-gambling forces discuss State Representative Robert Rita’s two amendments for Senate Bill 1739 at a hearing. If passed with the changes, the measure would allow casino development in Chicago as well as other Illinois locations, all with state oversight. The amendments also scale back the previous proposal and seek to calm ethics concerns. This program was streamed and recorded by Chicago Access Network Television (CAN TV).
