Chicago-Kent College of Law hosts a conversation about race, fear and the law in police confrontations featuring, David A. Harris, nationally recognized expert on police, race and criminal justice. We will discuss his recently released book, A City Divided, in the context of current events. He will be joined by Chicago-area civil rights attorney and activist, Jeanette Samuels, Partner at Shiller Preyar Jarard & Samuels and Karen Sheley, Director of the Police Practices Project at the American Civil Liberties Union of Illinois.
